When is Dell going to release a new 20" LCD monitor

I am really surprised that the 2001FP is still around, and still selling for quite a bit of money. I bought mine nearly 2 years ago for around $700 and I love it. I never watch movies on my PC and I love running the high res.

Recently I was thinking of going with a 24" Dell, but I think I would rather have a second 20" and run dual monitors. I love the 2001FP, but if a newer one were coming down the line I would prefer to wait for that.

Is widescreen just selling so much more that Dell won't spend the money to come out with a new one? I do notice that all of my clients in NYC are running the 2001FP, so I know for corporate world widescreen does not rule.

Thanks for the link, but as I mentioned I am not looking for the widescreen, but a new version of the 2001FP if and when it comes out.

Sweet, thanks man. I guess I can wait until the new one comes out. Hopefully it has a price drop as well. Of course, the monitors would probably look better if they were identical, but oh well...
