When is amd's 8XXX coming out?

I have a 7850, should I upgrade to the next gen's hd8850 or hd8950?

We've heard little news about it, so I would say probably mid 2013. It's impossible to say whether or not you should upgrade at this point.

The rumor is Feb 2013 or so. IMO Q1 or early Q2 is highly likely for 8900 series. 8800 seris may take 2-4 months extra.

Last thing I heard was that the 88xx series would be released first, in Jan-Feb. Releasing 89xx last.

This was a rumor a long time ago, like back in July.

Thank you, everyone! I check some benchmark once those cards are out and if the increases in performance are large enough I'll consider upgrading and sell my current gpu.
