when in highschool, did you copy or do your own work?

It really depends on the class, and what you define as copying and what is helping, for me at least

never copied...i may not have done all the work, but at least what i turned in was my own

tended to be the slacker type who whipped stuff up at the last minute. still, i felt better about my work than my friend who took her material straight out of cliffs notes without bothering to paraphrase. :|

I do my own work. I also copy some work, as when it's a group assignment and we all have to have our own papers..

I do most of my work myself, but a few of my friends and I resort to copying each others stuff sometimes. Nothing like papers/tests or anything, just small homework deals. We're all passing our honors+ classes with ease so I don't see a huge problem.

Tell you what though, doing your own work does help you with those test things. Copying is a quick fix I use for homework and what not. I usually end up going back and doing it myself anyhow.

when it was worksheets and homework and such my friends and I would do it together, but then when it was studying and such...my senior year I did none, even if it was book assignments, yet even though I went in cold, I still did alot better than they did almost all of the time they hated me for that haha

it really depended in what class...math i did my own hw because it helped me understand it easier...basically i could've copied hw in any class and have been fine...spanish on the other hand was more of a copying ritual

Copied and did my own. A mixture of both. A senior once told me...."You can never survive University but depending totally on yourself" I wonder if he's right??

well at college, homework is basically worthless, so thats why you cant survive, most of it is tests. I'd do my work in high school, there wasnt that much and it was easy anyways

Homework has turned B's into A's and C's into B's for me. Homework is everything for me. I am a senior majoring in Civil Engineering.

In high school I did all my own work. In college it has been a mixture....

most of the time i copied work in high school. there was no point to doing it because it was simple and homework wouldn't have helped my learning. i do all my own work in college though.
