When I don't feel like working...

Shiet, why don't I feel like working. Very much similar to my college life when I didn't want to study.

I can't be like those motivated mofos. Damn

Ever hate those kids always studyin? Or, are most ATers them?

I just wanna drink beer and play poker.

It's called apathy, and later in life you'll regret it. Most people have two choices as far as I see it: Allow apathy to control your life and spend your years working deadend jobs with the hopes of retiring when you're 65 on a pension plan that will facilitate your ability to play poker online and little else, or instead put forth the extra effort now and spend many more of your years doing the same... in Vegas.

I'm assuming you're in your 20s now, but by the time you hit your 30s your perspective will have changed, and by then it's largely too late. Of course, everyone has different goals, but mine is to no longer have to work past 30; to me, no greater achievement in the course of freedom can be realized for those that actually have to find their way in the world.

descartes, thanks for the kind comment.

what's nef, BTW. I'm fairly new to this off-topic forum.

for some reason i feel very unmotivated.

better get to work then.

at my job? when I don't feel like working I suck it up.

though in school, if I didn't feel like working, I just wouldn't do it. I was good enough with time management that I could blow off a day or two in a drunken binge and not really be hurting insofar as getting stuff done was concerned.

Then by definition you're not apathetic. Not studying for a little AP exam is hardly considered apathy.

Things will change when you're out of high school.
