When I ctrl alt del it says 500mb of my PF is being used, wtf?

Here is the setup:

Athlon 2500+ Barton 333mhz
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
Radeon 9800XT
512 (256x2) Crucial PC2100 DDR SDRAM
IBM 60GXP 60GB HDD

What could be causing my page file to take up so much memory?
 
Windows does stuff like that. Look at task manager to see what's eating the most ram, close applications you aren't using, and if it really isn't affecting performance, don't worry about it much. 🙂
