When I close the lid of my notebook, and I'm playing a mp3 on WinAMP, the sound stutters for a few seconds, and then restores itself.
Anyone have this situation?
I have Win2K on Dell Inspiron 4000, PIII 600, 384RAM, 20GB HD - three partitions, 3, 6, 11.
I just reformatted and partitoined this computer on Sunday so it's not because the system is old. I also tried reinstalling WinAmp, but it didn't seem to solve anything. This also happens under Windows Media Player, so it's not a WinAmp problem.
Also I checked the settings of "When I close the lid" under power management tools, it's set to "Do nothing," so it's not like the laptop is going into Standby or Hibernation mode.
Alrighty, if u guys know anything.. lemme know.
