When I burn a cd with nero, I can't seek through the songs, and sometimes the end of the disk skips

When I burn a mix of mp3's or do a disc to disc copy of a CD, I can't seek through the songs on any CD player. I've tried a bunch and they all act the same. For instance, I the first song of the CD will start playing and lets say I want to seek to song #8, so ill click the button a few times and it will show track 8 on the cd player but it wont play. The disc just spins and cant seem to find the song.

I'm using a Lite-On 411S dvdrw/cdrw with Nero 6 and I've tried Fuji, tdk, and memorex media.

Whats can I do?

Your picking audio cd to burn? Try burning at a slower speed. If you put too much on the disc the end songs may skip.

Did you do disc at once or track at once burning?

Make sure you don't do multi session and make sure you close the disc

that would be a start in the right direction Also ..putting in 1-2 sec space between them sometimes is necessary as well ..
