Given the fact that 75% of the people in my buddy list have the words "boi", "azn", "oO", "cRaZy", "niKKa" and "tHUg"...and they incorporate it into their vocab why do they do that?

Well yea it isn't wrong to have pride in your culture, but to express that pride in everyday dialog, isn't that carrying it a bit too far?

And it gets quite annoying, especially when you are partnered up with someone like that in a project: "suH waRe sHuD weH meEt?" (so where should we meet?)

and also like to b*tch about everyday things: wEn suM bIatcH tuk Mah pahKiNG sPacSH, i fwElt saDneSH!

Since when have asians had the avid desire to express their pride in themselves? most of those people probably don't know how to use a rice cooker, wok, and don't even know how to stir fry

<<When has this "AzN PrYDe" era began?>>

When you start giving 12, 13, and 14 year old asians access to a computer, AOL access, and a plethora of Asian chatrooms where they can all mingle.

your post really doesnt make much sense...what is the point again? I don't see how boi, o0, crazy, nikka, and thug represents anything with asian pride except that alot of little asian kids type like that use those types of words in their screennames... I don't know whos on your buddylist but my list comprises of 99% asian people and no one types like that. You hang around with too many people who use AOL or Asianavenue. Btw, when did knowing how to use a rice cooker, wok, or how to stir fry signify asian pride. If this is supposed to be a funny post, it just flew by my head completely.
