When Ferengi's get gas........

I went to AMD Tech Tour and coming home, I had to fill up.......so the thought dawned on me. "When Ferengis get gas....."

you pull in.

once you get here, you insert the nozzle and pump and turn the whole nozzle upside down immediately to get the 6 cents worth the last guy left there

you leave the nozzle that way, so when you finish, you dont leave 6 cents for the next guy

you pay with amex to get the BVG protection (hey, every little bit counts)

you fill up at 141.9 and drive down the road. you see 139.9 and feel ripped off.

i agree. i have eyeballed all the gas stations on my drive home from work, and i know which ones are the hceapest. surprisingly... the one near newark airport was cheapest. i would think airport gas would be more expensive. dunno why...

I don't understand Ferengi's.

Why spend so much effort on saving small amounts while going through all these rebate, pricematch hassles) when they could focus on making more money - getting a higher paying job, start a business, something!

I buy gas at Chevron, it's close to the house and they always clean your windshield even if you don't ask.

I never knew this. I'm going to have to start taking 6 cents of the gas from the guy before me and getting my last 6 cents.
