No according to David Sirota, head of Sirota Survey Intelligence, a research firm that has surveyed millions of employees in Fortune 500 companies.

I thought it was true because people are willing to put up w/sh!t for more $.

What's your take?

Perhaps they complain about their pay because they need more money to keep up with their lifestyles?
Fuel prices go up, utility costs go up, etc etc etc ...

Unless people get raises that cover those costs, people will complain.

Nah, I know people that complain about their pay, but they love their jobs, and I don't think that I could safely say that they are unhappy about anything else at work.

Vs some of us that like the pay, and hate the job otherwise.

i can't really agree. when people complain about their pay, it's usually because someone else they know makes more, doing the exact same thing, has better benefits, or has fewer responsibilities. at least in my case :(
