when does the si-120 come out?

Somewhere here, yesterday, I posted the best I could do in estimating the thermal resistance of the Zalman CNPS-9500-LED -- about 0.158 C/W. The SI-120 trumps that number at 0.14 C/W.

I ordered mine from www.svc.com -- Silicon Valley Compu-Cycle (cherchez les femmes) -- for about $45. It will arrive today.

what board are you putting it on? let me kno how it works out im thinkabout one of those with aneus on it...going for quietness

BonzaiDuck,

That was quite a dissertation about thermal resistance, air flow, and references. Like Yoda, I am thinking of moving from Zalman to Thermalright SI-120 for my next X-2 gig.

Thanks again and hope you will post your experience with the SI-120.

😉
