When does Sony offer bundles?

I am about to pull the trigger on a PS3 mostly for blu ray player but for $399 it would be nice to get a game free. Does anyone know when Sony offered a bundle last holiday?

That was around May/June though right? It was also with the $499 system I think. I am after the $399.

Sony/Chase CC is up to $150 now if you can do that (sonystyle.com).

I don't remember an xmas bundle last year, but Sony needs to do -something- to counter the $299 60 GB xbox, which will be bundled with Lego Indy for xmas.

I thought they offered Motorstorm with the 80gb and Spiderman 3 blu ray with the 40gb?

Sony announced a Little Big Planet and another bundle for Japan. I don't know why they haven't done something similar for North America.

Quite possibly, there have been so many Sony SKUs since launch no one human can remember them all 🙂

Unless the OP really wants to play Uncharted, I would skip this bundle. It's basically identical to the new 40GB and 80GB core units with extra HD space and a game.

Since the 40GB is replaced by the 80GB core, I would get that and a game you actually want to play. If you don't plan on playing games with the PS3, use that money for BR movies.
