When does noob-dom end

I'm not looking for flames, I can get plenty of those other ways. I'm also not looking for a, "One day you just will be....and will know" crappy movie type of things. When do people on these boards end being a noob, and become whatever? Is it a post count, a length of being a member, or just once you have proved the relative size of your man/woman hood. If this has been asked before (more than highly likely), sorry, I am clearly still a 'noob'. So please, let us all know when each of you decide that someone is no longer a noob.

Post something worthwhile like wdauqnug ro dessertcart and you will lose noob status in a week.

And go straight to lifetime ban? A fun direction, no doubt, but not exactly what I'm trying to do

if you think you are a noob then you are still a noob.

I never claimed I wasn't. I'm just trying to see how people decide. People love to call others noobs, but they never have any rhyme or reason to the criteria............

Ok, I think the topic has been misunderstood. I'm not trying to get out of being a noob, I'm trying to get people to quantify what a noob is. The word gets thrown around here as much as 'liberal' and 'neocon' in the P&N forums, so I wanted to see what people thought it was. I made a similar topic in the P&N forums about the overuse of 'liberal' and 'neocon' which mostly sparked insults, hopefully here it will be different.

See, when you don't make naive comments like these you are no longer a noob. 😀

Of course you'll get insults hurled at you, it's ATOT! That is all some people live for. LOL

I might still be a n00b... but if I call you a n00b it makes me seem less n00by

At some point you:

a) Stop posting dumb threads like "Look at this free iPod deal!"
b) Get a post count over 100
c) Manage to not post something on a regular basis that gets you flamed and/or banned mercilessly

This is when n00b-dom probably ends. Later you:

a) Start posting dumb threads like "OMGWTF..." or "NEF"
b) Get a post count over 10000
c) Manage to post something on a regular basis that gets you flamed and/or banned mercilessly

Then you are a "Lifer"
