10 N + 10 N would equal 10 N whenever the two forces to be added are at 30 degrees to the horizontal.

what if you have the number 10, and then times it by binary code 10, isn't that just the number one, so 10*1=10 i don;t know maybe i am just soo drunk DOgg

Well it makes more sense when you put it in the proper context. I didn't really know the context when I first posted the question. An old batman comic wasn't going to have some mathematical answer, it was a brainteaser type thing. You couldn't have known this though.

Thats easy Binary 10 = 2 in binary 2 + 2 = 4 4 in binary is 100!! naaa even in binary 10+10 = 100 now you can say 10 + 1 = 3!! EDIT: You edited your post after I did mine.. sorry!

speaking of that comic, if anyone is interested here's the issue it was in: http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/b...ction=fullsize&issue=07206180254%20179 how's that for geekdom?
