When do your wisdom teeth come in?

No idea, I'm almost 23 and I don't think mine are fully grown in.

They're painless for the most part, but at times they'll seemingly "push" for a few days and hurt like a bitch, but then they'll stop. They've been doing this for what seems like the past 3-4 years though.

It's the same with me. They first starting coming in at around 19 years old.. I remember it hurt like hell for a few weeks, I could barely chew. But then it stopped.. then a year or two later same thing on the other side, stopped again after a week or so. Now they seem fine.. and my teeth aren't crooked or anything.

Damn dentists have been telling me since I was 15 to get them out or I'll have serious problems. I'm 24 now and everything is fine. Anything to make an extra buck I guess!

Yeah, I haven't been to the dentists in awhile, and I fear that when I go they'll recommend that I get them removed!

They aren't bothering me much now, so screw it, I'll deal 😉

I wonder though because I hear of people getting them at the age of 21 and I remember though when I first could feel them breaking in at 2nd grade. I even went to the dentist who told me when ever I felt pain that I should clean the tip of the eraser and rub where the pain is and the finally broke through at about 4th grade and finished growing at about 7th grade. So I have really no idea when they are "suppose" to come in...

my will stay in as I have room in my mouth for them.

i think its a misconception that they must be removed.

If your mouth has room what is the purpose of taking them out?

Mine came in at 17. Still have them at 39. No problems at all with them as well but during the years I have had some dentist want to pull them anyway. I just refused.

I'm lucky, I don't have wisdom teeth and I'm missing a 12 yr old molar too.

See thats the thing, whats the difference between wisdom teeth and 12yr old molars? It seems like this "12 yr old molar" thing doesn't exist and they are really wisdom teeth. I've checked in my mouth I see that there is no way for more teeth to come in so...

i know its not around 20....i know someone who was 16 and got her wisdom teeth out... I laughed at her and she slapped me then we hugged and she slapped me again and i said i was sorry and she said sorry to then we were both really confused..........
