When do you think vigilante economic justice will start?

seriously. a few weeks, months? or not at all?

everybody knows that the ceos are still wearing their golden chutes worth multi-millions, so when is the justice going to come from a place other than the same government that oversaw this issue (which would mean nothing except a showboat act to try to appease the public)? a lot of people don't have so much to lose anymore.....

i am not condoning it, just wondering what you think....

It will take a major upheaval for any amount of change to happen. Normal things in the American diet (Cell phones & Coffee) have to become near unaffordable before people will get really upset. The amount of complacency is sickening in today's America. If the U.S. government subsidized coffee and cell phones, citizens would allow it to do whatever it wanted. We are a good ways away from that happening and I think that has to do with a bit of historical understanding. Financial upheavals have been a catalyst for many uprisings. A Roman poet Juvenal was quoted as saying "Give them bread and Circus". Governments give you life's material pleasures for your obedience.

"vigilante economic justice"? Hmmm... I'm not sure I call anything that is "vigilante" - "justice".

But if your question is about when will morons start freaking out badly enough to become violent? Likely going to be some IF BHO isn't elected. Sure, the last straw would be yet another D defeat but the morons who are close to snapping due to "economics" would likely join with the leftist who would go ape all over the country.

....or hopefully none of the "go ape" will happen.... but I'm not holding my breath for certain folks to act rationally...

I, too, have wondered the same thing. Since much of the populace regards these guys as lowlife scumbags, why not kidnap them or their family members and hold them for ransom from some of the money they stole (or at best undeservedly "obtained"). I've also wondered whether some particularly angry, displaced Americans might just decide to execute some of these guys in an act of murder-suicide if they're planning to commit suicide themselves anyway.

When the economy collapses. The Bush administration has already threatened martial law if they did not pass the Emergency Economic Stabilization Bill.

We are emotionally dead. We don't know what we feel. We are dying for something real. War, violence, and catastrophe cause people to enter the now in survival mode and it's all the real life most will ever have. We crave disaster and chaos because we are bored to death. Humanity is a ticking time bomb. Better learn to feel while you can, no? You'll find you hate yourself with an intensity you can't imagine, but eventually too, that all those feelings that feel so true are really only lies.

Fascism is built on lies. Your real leaders, they are fascists, Bush and his advisers and supporters. Behind it all, that is the truth. Fight back.

Something needs to happen. The US has been going in the wrong direction for the last 30 years and only a select few are getting ahead. The rest of us are sitting by losing our money from the stock market, watching health care double, gas triple, etc... People willing to throw away the American worker because its a global economy and its cheaper to make in China... We don't have any pride. We want cheap shit and hell with the American worker. All of this is catching up. You want food made in China? How about buying a new car when you don't have a job anymore? What about the white collar worker who is in favor of the stock market? Yup, you just fucked yourself and I'm laughing at you. I feel pain for all the people that had to suffer though.

The whole world does not respect America much any more. Your leaders have embarrassed all Americans, they exposed and took advantage of all of you, I think I am glad I do not live in America, because your leadership has led you in the wrong direction. However, all is not lost, you can all still recover again.
