When do you think Soltek will become more mainstream?

My Soltek Nforce 2 400 board is rock solid....never a glitch...works just as good as my DFI Lanparty and A78NX boards....just wondering why more people hasn't chosen this board as the big bang for your budget

It has all the same features (mine lacks RAID and soundstorm) but for an extra $10 you can get them. I have an Augidy II..anyways I see most people using the Chaintech board as the budget Nforce 2 Board...

any comments about Soltkek? Not to mention there RMA and customer service is outstandingly fast

my friend has a purple ray soltek board.
its a KT266a chipset i believe, if that gives you the idea how old it is.
about 3 or 4 years old, still running solid.
Its not jumperless, thats the only thing i didnt like about that particular board.

based on his experience, its been a pretty nice stable board.

Soltek rules!!
my favorite manufacturer..
I have had 3 of their boards (different models) and they've all been but flawless.
I am working on getting my hands on the NF3 250 board they just released too :)

I'd have got the NF3 250 board, except that the NEO Plat was such a better value for the features.

I think Soltek will become mainstream when they get a decent site with some compatibility charts for memory...and...er...a US support number.

I should be receiving the nf3 250 board today. I have heard good things just about everywhere so I am excited.

It seems to be working very well right now. It's responsive and very stable. Sadly it doesn't multi task nearly as well as the dual 1800+ it replaced. You get what you pay for. I guess I will put my $ back for an PCI-E SMP Rig in a year or two :) .

Was very satisfied with my Soltek SL-75FRN-L before I sold it off. If I had to describe them, I'd say that they're right where Epox was a few years ago when they were doing everything they could to break into the enthusiasts market vice the mainstream. Their boards are cheap, but solidly made. Lots of tweaking features and low on the frivolous bells and whistles, both of which are appreciated by users like me.

Soltek is mainstream now, they just need a better distributor in the USA. Maybe Newegg will take over.

Agreed, in fact Newegg is what killed Soltek USA by doing the end around and getting their product straight from overseas. Consequently I feel they should be responsible for warranty service on the Solteks they sell. MISR CORP warrantys the Solteks they sell for the full year, Newegg could easily do the same.

I mod a Soltek forum on another site, and many of the members who own them are in Europe, so they are popular there too. Pricing, performance, and cool color schemes are an effective combo. I've built quite a few white boxes based on the SL-75MRN-L and it's a great board with outstanding overclockability for a IGP chipset.

I have just been waiting for them to produce another line of boards with the overclockability of the Golden Flame series and I'll buy another Soltek for myself. The new 250GB line looks awesome but they limit the vCore to 1.55v so until I have confirmation they have an ES power user's BIOS like the nF2 series had, I have to withhold my purchase from them :( Perhaps DFI will get their first biz from me, seeing as their board looks like an overclocking monster....

I wouldn't say "you get what you pay for" in this case... I mean.. if Soltek made an MPX mb I'd be happy :)
and I am sure it wouldnt cost much.

I tried an MPX system for about a week.. the dual MP1800's were just not fast enough at all for 3d.. so i had to switch back to my 2500+ .... but now I think I am going to get the K8AN2E-GR to last me a little while and maybe I'll get a dual Opteron in the future (just not practical right now)
