When do you enter a buy.com coupon code.......!?

Trying to use a code... and entering it where it ask to "redeem" a gift certificate..
But keeps asking for a (6) and a (16) digit number before it adds the $$.

Am I adding it into the wrong place? Does it get added later in the checkout process?
I just did not want to click on submit unless I was sure the discount was applied.

Any help is appreciated. Its been a while since I've bought from Buy.com.

buy coupons work on links, not coupon codes.

I think you don't "enter" the code at buy.com. If memory serves me right you go to a coupon page, put the coupon in your shopping basket, along with your items to purchase, then proceed to checkout.

you can always give them a call, i think the coupon goes right before you buy it. i cant really remember.
