Same. When allergies are really bad, it can make me feel helpless if all I do is constantly sneeze and have my eyes watering. It doesn't even give you a chance to think for a minute without sneezing. Thankfully, this is probably 1 or 2 days out of the year and I've learned to use Benadryl as needed to knock out any allergies that a normal medicine couldn't do.its much easier for me to work on 1 hour sleep than with my allergies going crazy.
That being said...if I was in your place, I wouldn't have gone in at all.
Same here. I tend to do this after crazy times at work. I decide I need at least one day off to cool off thus I call in "sick."I rarely call in when I'm actually sick but I do call in sick (personal day) when I'm feelin' fine.
I generally come in to work around 8:30 (supposed to start at 8) and then let my boss know I have a doctor's appointment at 9:30 so I have to leave at 9 to get there on time. I get back from that appointment by 10:45ish and head off to lunch at 11:30. I get back from lunch around 2:00, asleep at my desk by 2:15. I leave by 4:30 sharp because there is no way I will work 1 second past quitting time. Unless my snoring wakes me up by 3:30 in which case I tell my boss I have to leave early to meet the plumber for an emergency.
