Getting rid of the penny = more inflation.
Probably soon at the rate the currency is inflating now

what we do is get rid of every coin BUT the penny

then we make a law saying that people who cant count should be banned from using money

I'm fascinated by getting rid of physical currency. How would this work? Would it be pre paid? How does a 7 yr old buy a pack of candy? How does someone without a credit card or a bank account pay?

And the penny, won't be eliminated for a long long time, but it should have been by now. It's useless and a waste of resources to make.

Their parents start an account for them? The account would then be linked biometrically (fingerprint and/or retinal scan). RFID will be embedded into all products that we purchase.

Not likely because they'll have to start listing prices in tenths (and hundredths!) of dimes.

Cheers!
