when do they start charging for repair? *updated*

after I got the RMA, I sent back this mobo for repair.

finaly, I got back the mobo today. the box has an invoice with it. I assume it is charging me $200 for the repair? :disgust:

$200 repair for a $80 mobo? the mobo has 3 years warranty.

😕

Technically speaking an invoice is a bill. Call the vendor and find out what is going on. Assuming it's Newegg, I'm almost certain this is an error you can straighten out with a phonecall.

I called, their customer service sucks. I can't get a hold of a human being. it has nothing to do with newegg. I got the RMA from the manufacturer Albertron and sent it back to them to fix it. I think they fixed it. it comes with an invoice.

I already email'ed the guy who gave me the RMA #. I don't see why I am not covered under the warranty.

Then don't pay. It's not rocket science.

it is for a warranty repair, I have no idea why they want me to charge and charge me $200 for a brand new mobo that I can get it from newegg for $80. it is just so retard. I don't think they will go after me tho.

Solution: DON'T BUY %$*&$*&#@ PANSYASS CHILD'S TOY MOBOS FROM COMPANIES THAT SHOULD BE RELEGATED TO MAKING SEX TOYS

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I just got a reply from them. 😀

The invoice you received is not a charge to you. If you check the bottom left-hand corner. It should say, the invoice is for insurance purpose. Thank you.
