When do guys usually start to want girls in their lives?

I'm asking this because I noticed that when I grew up, women or girls were like 0 on the list.

Videogames, guy friends... hanging outside exploring were all cool and must haves for me.

I grew up, high school... wanted to date but just for the action.


Still in college and now I get that feeling that I want somebody to be with me for the rest of my life. I still do other things but its just that yearning that is always beckoning.

Is this just nature taking its course... or just people changing what they want in life?
Where is the line to be drawn?

I'm not sure but I'm wondering when you decide you want to get married.

I think as soon as you're 13 or 14 you want to have sex or have a girlfriend. But something more serious and for the rest of your life...I don't know so much about that.
