Just curious, what more are you looking for in an MP3 player? I personally have tried watching TV shows on that tiny 30gb iPod screen, not too much fun really. I can see it being useful maybe for video podcasts, but that's about it. I'm not the kind of person who shows off photos to people on my iPod, either. I did like the screen and large storage space though. I currently use one of those new clip-on iPod Shuffles (mainly for working out, love the clip) and a Sandisk Sansa (for use with the Rhapsody service). I'm actually thinking about getting rid of the Sansa because I've found I mostly just use Rhapsody on my computer, then the iPod in the car or while working out.

I win! I don't think I'd trust a phone with a hard drive though, Flash memory seems like a much better option

I need tons of space, and yeah I suppose the movies thing is a novelty to me, as I don't really use it, but it's nice to have the option. I have like 50+ gigs of music so space is my main concern, and it being able to act as storage for my files.
