My wife and I avoided Halloween tonight. We turned off all the lights, the motion activated porch light, left the house and visited family in another town. When we got back to our town we decided to eat at a pizza place and avoid peak trick-or-treating times. When we finally returned home, nearly every light was turned off in every house on our street.
I got 4 groups, with 4 kids per group tops. More candy for me :^)
When you're old enough to go without parental supervision, you're too old to trick-or-treat.

you sound like a fun guy to hang out with
You have to give the crappiest candy away first. That way, if there's leftovers, you get the good stuff :^)
I'm kind of surprised by how seriously a lot of people here take Haloween. I guess if you don't have Mardi Gras and can't be outside in the winter, you need to have some fun in October.![]()
