SO today I just learned that the postal service started doing postal money orders meaning you pay them and then the pay the person asking for the money. I didnt even know they did that till today? Last time i had to send money a few years back I asked a postal worker about that thing and he said he they didnt do anything like that. Anyways recently I had to send a money order because I got caught in a suituation where stupid paypal wouldnt let me pay for an auction on ebay I won and the seller seemed trustworthy enough so I sent them cash via priority mail. Then after I sent it I found they wanted a postal money order :(

1. What rock have you been living under that you didn't know you could get money orders through USPS?

2. What rock have you been living under that you thought others didn't know what a money order was and you had to explain to them how they worked?

Being as smart as he was, the postal worker probably thought a western union type transaction

EDIT: Gotta clarify. As smart as the OP was, the way he explained it must have come across as a western union type thing

i got a big one a few months ago for my apartment lease buy-out. felt weird handing over $900 to a post office cashier, but they are really cheap and a good way to do buisiness.
