As I'm sitting here on yet another Sat nite clutching a keyboard and study material for exam 70-215 it occurs to me that I've turned into a total geek.When and how in hell did this happen ? :Q

well, he's been doing stuff like that for 5 years...so i guess he just wanted to get it over with....

i heard you can't get all the 'materials' that's on the test from just class alone.

Are you using the MOC or Msoft press books or what? For sure, the Msoft press books do not fully prepare you for the exam. But they will get you close. Good luck. I like a female touch in the IT department. They seem to be so level headed.

BTW, I have MCP /MCSE/MCDBA. Do you plan to get MCSA?

Msoft and Syngress, going for MCSE, will probably go for Cisco certs after that

If you have MCSE you don't need to list MCP, it is inclusive unless you are referring to MCP in an OS other than that which was part of your MCSE.

I saved 216 for last and used 219,220,and 221 for my electives. 216 is not easy, and you will need a command of active directory. By the time I passed all the others,216 was a walk in the park.

Are you self taught, or attending classroom study? I hope you have set up a small lab to practice on. It will really help if you can practice. it helps to plant the knowledge from the books in a better manner than memorization. There are practical aspects of this that the tests will never touch on. The exams are all microsoft way, not the real world. That is not bad, as long as you focus on passing the exams. After you have passed, then you can do the practical.

I sure wish you sucess in achieving your goal. I'm sure you will do well.
