When did they stop making Dell 8200 Laptops?

As the title says... Does anyone know when Dell quit making the 8200 Laptops?

or when did they start making the 8500? cause they quit making the 8200 when they started the 8500
 
That's about right, actually. I bought an 8200 early 2k3, and then shortly after, picked up an 8500, but the 8200 was still available. Then the 8500 was the only option, and late 2k3, the 8500 was replaced by the 8600.
 
its a shame too, because the 8200 allowed 2 multimedia bays (like having a cd rom drive on one slot and a cd-rw on another), but starting with the 8500, they only have one bay 🙁
i guess it has to do with weight (8200s weighed about 8 lbs)
