Well I ordered a bunch of parts to build a new system lately but I just ran into a problem. The Sparkle PSU has a conector for the motherboard thats bigger then the conector thats actualy on the gigabyte motherboard. When did they change the standard size? I hope there is some kind of adapter for that otherwise it looks like I might be screwed because I cant take the psu back and I got the motherboard from newegg where it can only be exchanged for the same parts.

oh I just discovered the other threads about 24-pin PSU's in that they seem to be for pci express so Im guesing it was recent.
will that work? dont want the conection coming lose in case someone kicks the case by acident(im bad at that for some reason) being under the desk or a dog runing into and bumping it. Having a conection come loose with a $900 AMD CPU is scarry 😉
