When did the new revision of the G15 keyboard come out?

Looking all around town, on newegg.com, seems no one has the old g15's anymore, only that new revision 2, with the different screen and less macro keys.
 
They stopped making them when they went to the new type. They were bound to eventually run out.

Personally, I've owned both and I like the new version better. I never used programmable keys much anyway so the 12 fewer keys wasn't a big deal. I did like media controls better, but the smaller size, easier to read screen and amber lighting made it a better keyboard.
