When did CS updated to 1.6? My CS is teh borked...

I haven't played for a while now, and when I tried to play, 1.5 is no longer working... sux0r. Did everyone updated to Steam and not tell me about it?

1.6 has been out for some time now. It's only natural that most people have switched to it. You might be able to find a few 1.5 servers out there though if you look hard enough.

I am, but you won't be able to host from home with 1.6... It's somehow locked onto the third subnet thingy in the IP.

I've been playing for a few hours and am now taking a break. I play on the Clan Wicked servers with the Cheating Death client.

steam works fine now. just upgrade to 1.6 its rather painless, and the buy scripting is easier to boot.

theres even csrealism for 1.6 now http://www.csrealism.com/egm/ (high poly/texture model pack) its in the projects section, cs realism fe.

its still fun for a quick game here and there. its got the sheer convenience factor going for it.
