If you look at the "art" in magazines now you will notice that hair is making a definite comeback.

Everything goes in circles...
For a while in certain time periods...shaven was in then it went to natural, then shaven, etc...
Thats the way it goes and that is what women will follow.
Personally, its nicer looking as well as being healthier too!
EDIT: NO HAIR IS HEALTHIER!!!

It's only healthier now because women wear underwear that is tight to their skin, that leave no room for air circulation. The heat and moisture build up which can lead to yeast infections and other bacterial outbreaks.

Back in the day (whenever that was), women wore dresses for a reason other than to show off their legs. I don't think most people know this, but when women wore dresses they also didn't wear any underwear. It was to help keep the moisture and heat from building up. Whenever a girl was on her period, they wore these strap devices similar to a jock strap with a rag. But still no underwear.

If I remember the history correctly, when women eventually started wearing underwear, it was more like boxers. Then someone invented the kinky panties, which at the beginning were supposed to be a type of loungerie, not casual wear. Then it became mainstream and that's probably when trimming started. But now you've got a hundred different yeast infection creams and suppositories, odor removing powders and sprays, and now even ventilated microfiber panties, and nobody gives it much thought why all this within a century.

Heck with panties, we should go back to no underwear and dresses/skirts. 😉

I did actually know that, but people have to keep with the times. Certain types of underware are the in thing, and so....
well, we need to stay healthy in that way. I personally dont want saggy baggy underware, its uncomfortable and i I dont like the way it looks.
Again, this is just my .02. Like i said before, wait and see if there is a "revial" in those types of under garments. I am sure there will be a change, just like in fashion...everything old is new again.

More and more younger girls are wearing thong underwear... maybe in the next few years crouchless panties will be the in thing. And although somewhat slutty in today's standards, it would be the healthiest version of underwear.

probably when bathing suits became so revealing trimming was needed. I mean when you have hairs poking out I'm sure someone realized what needed to be done 😛

but once shaven why would you ever want to go back to pube fro of death..........I'm not quite sure males will accept that sort of thing

I keep the fro to a minimum myself. Itches for the first day or so, but after that, not too bad. I do feel like I sweat less down there too, which is always a good thing.

well i also wondered... are men supposed to trim their hair also? i know some men who do and some who don't... but what's the majority?!

Men usually don't trim, that I'm aware of. One genius that my brother was friends with in high school actually SHAMPOOED his pubes.

I tried shaving my pubes once out of curiosity, and all I can say is, NEVER AGAIN. It itches like a mofo and the stubble keeps poking your twig and berries. Not to mention, I felt like I was 8 years old again. 😉

like shave or trim? yeah i can imagine the hairs poking if it were to grow back like facial hair. but... that's prolly if you shave it. i was wondering if trimming would provoke the same effect?!

If you just trimmed it short but not too short, I can't imagine that being a problem.
