Just recently inventiveness my electronics for insurance purposes, and I really hadn't noticed how much clout Asus has gained in pass few years. From my Asus Xonar Dx(one of better sound cards), to my asus transformer tablet (one of better tablets), to my asus 6870 crossfires. If you take a total look at what they offer, they make some of the best products in the industry ROUTINELY, across different platforms. When did this happen? And how big of a company are they?

P.s I love asus mobos and I bought a transformer for my fiance but their other products are way down my shopping list.

Someone has to be a competitor to Samsung and their rolling over of several different markets.

In mobos Asus has always been one of the top tier. Samsung doesn't go there. Samsung has for decades, been strong in displays and TVs. Among top competitors are Sony and LG. When companies deviate from their core business, they often lose stature.
