I've been waiting on this card since May (I know a lot of others have too) and its getting frustrating. I have all my new computer components picked out and ready to buy from newegg but I dont want to order them without a card and waste my return period. Bestbuy doesnt seem to have them and its just frustrating waiting almost 5 months now. So since I havent been checking here daily thought I would ask if anyone knows when, or if they have been coming out more lately.

check your local bestbuy

btw, i dont recommend anything other than BFG for lifetime warrenty, top notch tech support, and pre overclocked

no other company provides such conveniences

Newegg has Gainward Gts in stock, which are dang nice. Plus they've got eVGA, XFX, and Albatron in stock as well.

dude, check out the 2-3 other threads about this. Most stores should have gotten a shipment of BFG's either last week or this coming week. Basically u need to find someone in computers or @ the Tech Bench who knows what it is. The SKU for the product is 6684652. Have them search in "RSS" for that SKU and ask them if they have any "Available On Hand" or "In Transit." If its "In Transit," then it should be in the store within 1-2 business days. If some are "Inbound Allocated," it may take up to a week or more to get them in store.
Also, the most obvious thing people seem to overlook: THE WEBSITE. Check bestbuy.com frequently and u can order one online! Both the GT's and Ultra's go "In Stock" periodically there as well. I usually happen to check late at night (Just out of curiosity) and that is when I see them suddenly show up. Now, they go very quick, so jump on it if you see it.

Fry's Outpost.com has the BFG 6800nu for $249.00 and the GT for $399.00, both show "In Stock"

Fry's Outpost

For the "big spenders" they also have the Ultra at $499.00

The only problem with that is that BFG's custom dual fan cooler seems to be less efficient than even the nvidia reference cooler. Just a poor design I suppose. But you can always change it to an NV5 Cooler, but whoops, there goes the warranty.

Just look online to see if they have it in stock to buy online and pick up in-store.
