When can a woman get pregnant?

edro

Lifer
Damn..... is it really THIS hard to find the answer to a question that every human being SHOULD know?

WHEN can a woman get pregnant? If her period is like 5-7 days long..... when can she get pregnant? Also, I have always had the understanding that the ovulation is like 14 days long.....

Anyways..... can someone simplify this whole "period" thing for me?

I guess I could ask my girlfriend...... but she would prolly laugh at me. 😀

edro, there is no set answer for this, but typically the "optimal" time for a woman to get pregnant is 5-10 days after their period...

That being said, technically it can happen on any day regardless of when the last period was...

try doing a google search on something like "optimal conception times" or something like that

You could get pregnant any time during a cycle, because they are not completly always the exact same, sure there are some days that are "safer" than others and sperm can be tough little buggers and not die so quickly in her system. With that said, if you are not going to bag it, go home and whack it. Or use some other reliable form of birth control.

Almost anytime except for a few days after her period, but sperm are viable long enough that conception could occur no matter when you have intercourse (although there are periods where conceptions is more likely than others).

The first two days after the period stops a woman cannot get pregnant. Experience talking here 😀

Not true my friend... not true. A woman can get pregnant any time during her cycle, even on her period. Sperm can live in the woman for at least 2 days, maybe longer.

sperm can live up to 5 days!, normally its more like 2 but as its been said before, the exceptions will always happen when you least want them to, so don't be dumb, unless you want little kids running around your house.

Actually your experence would be that YOU can't get a woman pregnant two days after her period. Big difference.
