Can someone prove that there was live video coverage of the first plane hitting the the WTC tower? His statement of seeing a plane hitting the tower and later being notified of a second plane hitting doesn't make any sense.

Bush lie?

Bush lie?

Everyone knows Bush himself ordered the CIA to stage the attack, so of course he'd let them film it too, so he could enjoy it over and over again!

(Ok, _that_ I would put beyond him)

Or they might have been referring to the same (the 2nd) plane.

Perhaps Bush saw the 2nd plane hit...and later Andy Card came in and said a 2nd plane hit. Perhaps Bush saw the 2nd plane and thought it was the 1st time a plane hit the tower.

There is indeed a videotape of the first plane hitting one of the towers. I saw it (I'm from NYC). It looked like it was heading south. The thing with that videotape is that it was filmed by a guy (or girl) that was filming and talking to a cop in the street (in Manhattan). He saw the plane and zoomed onto it. While it is true that the videotape does exist, it became available much, much later than all the other videos. I think I saw it either the night of september 11 or a day later. Furthermore, it was a home video, and it would be hard for the authorities to get it and show bush in such a short period of time when there was total chaos in manhattan. That is, unless there's a secret tape that only he has.
Bush may or may not be telling the truth.

Nah, that makes too much sense

Bush tends to do that from time to time. Anyways, I think he was just mistaken and thought the second plane was the first.

What I want to know here is what came of those two alleged car bombs in Washington DC? I heard they were around the Supreme Court and some other place. Anyone here knows?

Yeah, and one by the State Dept. Those were wild rumours. Rumours were flying around that day.

And, it must be remembered that even after andy informed Bush of the second impact, and by his own admission Bush knew we were being attacked, he continued to read to the classroom full of children.

Just think about that for a while.

Here is something to think about... Why would Bush, or our government, stage this incident and murder thousands of American citizens? Who in their right mind would even consider it a possibility that our government was involved?

The video of the first plane hitting the tower was not live; it was from those two french guys who were doing a documentary on a NYC fire crew. This is the same video that was aired in the 9/11 documentary that was narrated by Robert De Niro. Now, if you really want a conspiracy theory, start wondering at the timing that a french film crew would be doing a documentary of NYC firefighters on that day.

That is a fair argument. I'll admit it. But, what is the government's motive? Why does our government need to do something like this?

While I believe that there is no such thing as accidental history, I do believe in opportunism. As tragic as it may be, maybe our government deliberately looked the other way when intelligence was pouring in. Knowing Bush, who knows, maybe he was kept in the dark.

What group would have the most to gain from spreading conspiracy theories of this type?

This is not that much different than the one that the Mossad was behind it all. There is an organized group that has attacked the U.S., wants the U.S. to fall and will do anything in their power to help it along up to and including spreading lies to discredit the administration.

The whole events of 9-11 need to be investigated by an impartial panel. Believing conspiracy theories like this and others that are out there with nothing but innuendo to back them is in my opinion rather stupid.
