When burning a data cd on a PC and viewing on a MAC

Let's say I burn files onto a DVD disc on my PC. I can view it on my iBook.
Now, let's say I go add some additional files after the initial burn, I can't see the recent files I put on the DVD. I didnt close the disc and I can view ALL files on my PC desktop, but I can ONLY see the initial files that I burn on my iBook.

Anyone?
