When are you supposed to rate someone else?

i wanna know this coz i have been rated 3 times. i thought you rated somebody only on the basis of their FS/FT transactions. i know there is no hard and fast rule but what are the modalities? 😀

3 demerits for that! Seriously, I've been around a while and I don't think I've ever been rated. I think it's just what happens when people get into flame wars and they wanna be petty.

Actually, I have been rated--two guys thought I deserved a 1 today. I commented on a guy calling his daughter a bitch and he or his little friends decided it would hurt my feelings if they voted me down. Well, too bad, this isn't counter-strike, and I stand by my moral decisions.

Ratings mean nothing. Shut the option off and forget about it.
