Hey, guys

To save some money, my friend offered to buy my current rig.
If I understand things correctly, the Intel 45nm parts will be out here in the states @ the end of January.

So,

When are the quad core 45nm non extreme ed. desktop chips coming out?
Which chip is everyone thinking about getting?
What's a great mobo to get for one of these?
What ram speed should I shoot for (1:1 @ least) if I'm hoping for a ~3.5 ghz OC? (less is ok too)

It may seem like I'm lazy but the thing is that I've been so incredibly busy that I've not had a chance to research this myself or keep up with the latest buzz.
Also, if it is not true that these monsters will be out late this month, I wouldn't sell my current rig cos I'd get burned.

Thanks in advance, folks!

1) January 20, 2008.
2) I want a Q9450.
3) Any P35 or X38 that can do 450FSB or higher.
4) Any RAM that can hit 450FSB = 3.6GHz easy.

Jan 20 is for Wolfdale (E8xxx), the Quads are Q1-2008, which can be Mar 31. Nobody knows yet.

From the look of things if AMD don't put up anything new, Intel will not release 45nm Quads anytime soon.
