When are the next-gen game consoles coming out?

Hey. I bought some stock in EA for the long haul, because of the promise of its integration into XBOX Live, etc., and its other successful franchises. It has shot up lately, and I'm considering selling and possibly buying later closer to the release of these systems, because if sales lull in the meantime (before the next major set of releases to a new audience, plus Sims 2 is still a ways away apparently) it'll probably go down a bit and be a bit cyclical in general.

Any updates of the releases of these machines? Are these reasonable estimates? I've heard anything from mid-next year to XMas 2006. :Q

Thanks.

put your stock in a safe and forget about it. that's the best advice for buying stock.

Your estimations are correct. Seeing as the only prototype that was seen at E3 was the NintedoDS, You probably won't see then releasing anything this year, and not until a few months after next year's E3.

The new Microsoft console will likely be the first released, as development prototypes should be sent to developers before the end of the fall, if what I've read is true.

You have a while.

I don't think even next christmas, 2005.

I think we're looking at '6.

Handhelds are the only thing coming out relatively soon.

Thanks. With the Sims still months away, I may sell now or sell after the sims and keep it on my radar.
