When are the new SB Audigy drivers going to come out?

Do you mean for WinXP? The new drivers have been available for a while now. You just have to download it from an OEM site. In the last statement Creative put out, they said they just haven't committed to allocating the server space for it yet. It's a massive download for the full, unified SBLive/Audigy suite (377mb).

Running it right now myself. Works great on all my machines that uses a Creative card.

Brian48 gives good advice. The page with the Compaq drivers doesn't mention it, but you have to delete the CToem.cfg file before it will install on machines other than Compaq ones (I think this is true, but I haven't tried installing with the CToem file to find out). The drivers work very well with WinXP, and I've been using the latest builds of SP1 with no problems in the sound. To give it a polished look, I made an Autorun.inf file that uses the icon from the original CD that came with my Audigy and set it to run the setup file then burned it to a CD. Good stuff.

Since I installed my Audigy, the standby mode doensn't work any more under Windows XP Prof, the new drivers changed nothing.
Is there any workaround/bugfix out there?
I think I heard once that there are problems with Audigy and standby under XP, any proof for this?

Cu and thanks for your help.

Bene
