I don't know about MSI K7 Master, but AMD-760 boards are here already. Asus A7M266 has been available here in Finland for quite some time, although in limited quantities.

I would wait for more AMD-760 boards and the VIA KT266 chipset to show up before jumping onto the DDR-platform. It's rumoured that KT266 will actually be faster than AMD-760. KT266 is due out in mass quantities next month according to Ace's Hardware.

so far, there are from what I've seen 2 760 based boards out.

ASUS's A7M266, and Gigabytes board (I don't remember the #).

both don't appear to be refined well at all. I will wait for second revisions/new boards to come out before I form an opinion on AMD's 760.

I also find it highly unlikely that the Via chipset will be able to outperform the 760. We have not yet begun to see the performance of the 760 if you ask me.

"both don't appear to be refined well at all."

Exactly! Only two DDR-DIMM slots sounds like Intel's Caminogate. Add the inflexibility of CPU adjustments (which rules out 266FSB for all current Birds!!!) At the price of nearly US $200 shipped, the Asus board is a pretty darn bad buy. Oh, and the VIA 686B southbridge is inexcusable when there exists an AMD766 chip instead.
