When a Sony 27" LCD 120hz 2560x1600 comes out!

When a nice Sony 27 inch PC only monitor 120hz and I cant downgrade res.. so 2560x1600 is good for me.

Im willing to pay 500 bucks for this. Or maybe I have to wait two years so price comes down from maybe 800 dollars.... Long way to go,,I do this when the CRT dies poor thing God bless it. For TV / PC second connection will be a HDTV 23 inch which I have now but I wanna get a 27 inch HDTV 1080p .

When the time comes... let my hard drives die first and well take it from there..

Tweakboy you allready have the best monitor money can buy.
You need a video card my friend. A volt modded gtx 460 1gb would be sweet.

No no Im going to get it when my CRT dies.. thanks happy,, ya 460 is pretty good for money.. but I have no complainsts ,, except for BF2 and Crysis ,, everything else is fine and fast and smooth...... and I dont play those games.

yea thats the nice thing about CRT monitors is it doesnt look like total ass when you run them at a lower res, its very possible he is still getting an enjoyable experience in newer games by turning down the res with the only downside being smaller viewing area. it was quite hard for me to give up my CRT originally for this reason (21" trinitron, vga header was breaking off). this was also back when i had like no money for parts though, now i dont even need an upgrade for at least another year, prolly year and a half knowing me lol.

What are you saying? You want a 27" 3D 2560x1600 LCD display? For one thing your resolution is off- a 27" 16:9 display would 2560x1440, only a 16:10 display (which wouldn't be 27") would be 2560x1440. Secondly there will most likely never be any 3D displays @ resolutions higher than 1080p (16:9 1920x1080 120Hz) in the near future simply because of the expense of the hardware it takes to get up to 120Hz.

Your right happy_medium which is why soon very soon when finances allow Im gonna get that 460 and volt mod it and OC the heck out of it,, sorta what I did with the 8800 GT. Ill use that for phsyx it should be nice your right.. I dont need monitor right now as long as this one is still ticken Im good. Especially I want a 460 for BlackOps soo Im holding off buying it and playing it right now,,

Tweak, if you got the money, get a new GPU! Its seriously holding you back. My 4830OC is holding me back bigtime now and my 4830OC is at 4850 level and its holding me back, I wonder what an 8800gt is doing to you at such a high resolution.

DisplayPort 1.2 is the first one with enough bandwidth for 2560x1600 @120Hz.

Yes thats desktop res.. but gaming I play @ 1920x1200@85hz vsync on.. If I try 2304res it really slows down,, I bet a 460 would handle that.
