Uh...let me get this straight:

6pm - 8am (next morning) you are not allowed to park.

However, you want to park at 4pm and leave it there until 10am? Unless I'm missing something, I think you'll get a ticket.

Aren't you only allowed 2 hours to park, and secondly, you would be parking during 6pm-8am. So it seems like you are violating 2 things.

I have a feeling that if you did that at my school, the parking nazi would cite you for "circumventing regulations"... a $40 fine, $50 and waiver of right to appeal if not paid within ten calender days.

"incidental fees"
Retarded parking citations(such as back in/pull through parking)
additional fee A
additional fee B

The government is very inefficient at stuff, but one thing state schools are highly efficient is collecting fees and fines in a tax like manner to raise profit, then distribute the profit over retarded cause such as providing subsidies for services 90% of students don't use, such as childcare.

I don't think so.

Unless you're talking about booby trap university parking signs, it'd say so such as "no parking 4-6PM", '2hr parking 8-4AM" .

That's perfectly legal. If there's a meter, the meter has to be full up until 6:00 and then it dosen't matter. If there's no meter, then you are obeying the sign by parking there for 2 hours during the 8AM - 6PM and then parking overnight.

Not sure if they could do anything about it the next day but since at 8 your 2 hours starts again, I'd say you'd be fine.

If you get there before 10am. In Philly, the PPA will be WAITING with the ticket written at 10am. They are nazi's.
