Has anyone used one of the wheel repair services and how did it turn out? I scuffed one of the spokes on the Caddy, and is noticeable. Also, the car does not come with a spare. Do these place unmount the rim and tire on the spot or do I have to find a way to handle that on my own?

I've had a wheel repaired. Ran me $125 (rash repair + paint). Turned out great. At the time I had an extra set of wheels/tires so I just dropped the wheel off at the shop. Its not a 1-day job so I'm not sure how that would work for you. Maybe the shop has a wheel you could use? Not sure what to suggest.

I've done bondo+sandpaper+shaker can with the tire on and had good success. Get some color-match paint and you should be good to go. It is a 24 hour deal to let the paint dry though. Plan on 1-2 hours to let the bondo set, IIRC.
