Whay can't the forums have a spell checker?

Maybe people should learn to spell? 😛

There's no reason Fusetalk couldn't add the feature, but development time for anything seems, uh, rather slow. They have a suggestion page you can use for requests like this.

and I would be a perfect alpha or beta tester.

Seems like it would make more sense to have this feature built in to the browser, not the bulletin board itself.
 
I don't think you want to be enforcing a single set of spelling rules on everyone. For instance, americans spell words like colour and favour wrong. I'd like the freedom to spell them correctly 😉

I'm sure there's extensions for firefox. Theres a thing for IE someone linked. If you really want just shove it into a word doc and have it spell check. I wouldn't use a spell checker even if it was offered.
