Heard it was created, because when the founding fathers decided to have votes for the next president, they didn't want a single group that favored one person to entice everyone to go with their idea. I think we shoudl scrape it. You?

It does have some minor flaws but it is much better then having a populous vote. Otherwise what would a vote in Iowa ever matter. They could refine it and make it alittle more sensible though.

Electoral college is fine the way it is, it's in a sense locking up the popular vote, if they get California and New York and Texas, the 3 most popular states, that covers the popular vote, so if you get the popular vote in the state then you get the electoral vote from the electoral college... so the system isn't really that F'd up it's just broken down into state rather than nation, electoral college is combined with popular vote, either way, you still have popular vote, electoral college is just less direct.
