Oops. Anyway, I'm up to 40 days, WinXP Pro on an AMD Duron 1.3ghz cpu, crappy mobo and all. What's yours?
 
Windows update makes impressive uptime hard to achieve. I take it your WinXP is open to a few RPC exploits.

My linux box has been up and running since May 21st, 2003.
 
8 days... I always run windows updates and such every week so its never on more than a week at a time.
 
Don't leave laptop on.

/Radmins into computers at home...

My server has been on for 18 days, 8hrs, had to reboot then cos of playing with PCI WiFi adapter.
My main system has been up for 2 days 2hrs. But before that it was up for about 2 weeks, had to reboot cos of Windows updates.

Up that long w/o a single reboot or restart? By restart, I mean shutting down your GUI and all apps in there and restarting that.
 
As long as the power doesnt flicker (it did yesterday). I have had it on for up to a couple weeks. I only have the laptop on when im using it.

Yeah, it has been. Its just running a basic web server app, and I haven't had much need to even touch it for a long time.
