Whatever the default one is. I usually have my speakers off unless I'm listening to something, so I rarely hear it anyway.

I ripped it from Paul Birken's "Speaker Freak" where the voice says "put your head in the speaker."

The Live Bolt here too.

If the startup sound really has a serious affect on your PC... then it's time for a new PC ;)

Nothing. My wallpaper is nothing, I see no windows loading screen, and I only have the sound icon in my tray. I boot up fast. :)

Like Wyst said if you are slowed down by a sound, what are you running a TRS-80? It took 3 seconds to boot instead of 2.8.

Startup sounds really annoy me, especially that one that Soundblaster live puts as a default!

The Star Wars Fanfare. Really wakes you up if you forgot to turn down the speakers after the last time playing games.

Heh, I see a lot of us have the SB Live Thunderbolt as our startup. 'course, my stereo (computer connected to stereo) isn't on 99% of the time during bootup for me to hear it. So I guess the other choice of "nothing" might be more appropriate.
