Even a i7-2600K overclocked to 4.5Ghz does not get you a 7.9 on the CPU.

Mind blowing! I never even knew such a CPU speed rating existed guess I've been stuck with laptops for 5 years now

Thos Radeons seem to be very well at WEI I always stuck to nVIDIA just for the sake of having CUVA in LAV thinking it was the highest quality stuff

The WEI scores over 7.9 are running Windows 8. Windows 7 tops out at 7.9, I believe.

Haven't got a screenshot (at work) but mine is at 7.3 (courtesy of the i7-860).

Have a HD7950 which scores 7.9 (pretty sure even at stock speed).

your CPU is smoking fast! sheeesh

Thanks. Not bad for a 220$ microcenter processor running on air. I never pushed it to see what it will do. Brought it home, bumped the speed to 4.5 and added just a touch of voltage. Its been rock solid every since. Running in the mid 70s at full usage on all 4 cores.

That max CPU i've used is a 2.3 to 3.2 GHz. on my laptop (with Turbo Boost) must be fast as $h!t running a CPU @ 4.5 Ghz. don't u feel things are too snappy for you to handle?
