it's possible, I have a Gainward Ti4600 stock cooling fan (not counting the intake/exhausts on my PC) and I am running it at 320MHz Core Clock and 690MHz Memory Clock.

I can't test it in 3DMark SE though because for some reason I get a error from 3DMark about not being able to get the minimum required info from the video card *shrug*.

I'm not bitter. I could care less really but I Dont think it's possible to overclock a Ti 4200 that high thats all.

No one helped me, but it's ok. I did some research, found out about the reg hack, downloaded 3DMark, and today, I thoroughly enjoyed overclocking my ancient geforce 256 64MB DDR. Went from the original 120/300 to 145/345! 2559 to 2833 3DMarks! That was a blast. With Serious Sam 2 got 12% on avg. over the benchmarks! I know these are low scores compared to the new gear, but this was exciting for me.

Was that a good increase?

gainward 4200 64mb running at (315/580) with lots of artifacts,
running stable at (315/560)

150 bucks, 11000+ 3dmark score, can't beat that
I'll just pocket the other 150 bucks I saved by not getting a 4600 and buy another card in a year.

motojeff - Yes, that's a good increase. Look at my 1G rig, it's only getting close to 1000 more with a G2 Pro@220/475.

Dino - I think everyone just finds it hard to believe your getting this with stock. Me, If your getting this GOOD JOB. If not, ohwell!

Anyone think adding this to my 1G system I'll take large increased in my FPS games and 3dMarks?

Mine was able to do 300/600, but there were some artifacts in the environmental bump-map test in 3dmark2k1SE. 270/567 is what I have it set to now and it seems fine.
It's an eVGA brand 128MB card with 4ns RAM. The RAM seems to be at its limits - it's already got Ramsinks on; I might try more cooling on the core though.

look here. they got the inno3d 64mb to go to 330/610 stable and the visiontek 128mb to go to 330/600 stable. both with stock cooling. I've got my visiontek 128mb running at 315/560 stable right now but I cant go any higher w/o getting a 3rd party app b/c the nvidia utility wont go any higher.

I think I got a rotton core for my Ti4400. It crashes past 298ish. I've managed to bench 3dmark with the memory at 3mhz shy of 700Mhz though, so it's not all bad :D
